The 2013 Hyundai Azera Exterior “Fluidic Sculpture” Design!
“Fluidic sculpture” design philosophy is used in the outside of the Azera (Grandeur on some market) and this vehicle has very special water mark. Newly sculpted head LED lights and rear LED tail lights, integrated turn signals indicators in the side mirrors and new xenon HID headlamps are new modern details.
Also, the first thing you will notice from outside is the “waterfall” like radiator grille with chrome bars, SACHS-ASD suspension, integrated dual exhaust and newly designed 19″ alloys wheels.
More Sophisticated and Modern Interior for the New Azera!
The layout inside is cockpit like with outward pushed dash and is more sophisticated and modern than other large sedans. Interior is more spacious than it is expected.
Also, couple of changes has been made to some buttons, improved information color display and new gauge cluster and switches and the quality feel is well improved.
The Azera Engines are Developed in Hyundai California Proving Grounds R&D Center!
The 2013 Hyundai Azera powertrain is developed in “Hyundai California Proving Grounds” R&D Center. The choice of engines is the 2.4 LTheta II GDI with 201 horse power, the 3.0 L V6 Lambda II GDI with 270 horse power and 3.3 L V6 with 293 horse power (29 mpg-Highway). Also there is new Shiftronic 6-speed auto transmission.

Standard options are: 9 airbags (including driver’s knees airbag), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management) ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution and Brake Assist System. However Azera`s passive safety features cannot be seen, but they’re working in every single second when you are on the road.
