Mike Brewer from the famous Discovery Channel show Wheeler Dealers is in Texas this time around. In this episode, he tries to negotiate a fair price for a stunningly beautiful 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray! We are used to seeing Mike buying all sorts of vehicles, but we were pleasantly surprised to see him going for this American classic! The yellow 1972 Stingray instantly impressed Mike, and we can`t really blame him.
That sports car looks REMARKABLE. Mike shares some of his wisdom about this car, more specifically about the cars originality. Apparently, if there are small marks right under where the hood opens, the car is original, because that is the place where the car was bolted together. After making sure the car is the real deal, Mike decides to open the hood to take a sneak peek of the engine. Needless to say, he was once again stunned by what he saw!
The engine looked brand new! This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray had a Chevy 350 with a turbo 400 hydramatic transmission. The engine number also matched the VIN number of the car. Mike decided to try out this yellow beauty, so he started her up. As he put it, “it sounded like heaven“! Furthermore, he asked the owner if he could take it for a little test drive, to which the owner agreed.
Cruising around Texas in this 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seemed to put Mike in a very happy mood. After all, who wouldn`t be happy driving around in a thoroughly glamorous car such as this one? After being done with his little test drive, Mike drove the Corvette Stingray back to the garage. It was time to negotiate a price for it! Do you think he bought it? You will have to find out for yourself! Enjoy.
