Andy Palmer, the CEO of Aston Martin announced that in two years we should be expecting the completely Aston Martin electric Rapid model featuring 4 doors. He also said that an all-electric version of DBX crossover would follow the appearance of the Rapid. For the all-electric Rapid it is expected to be able to develop 800 hp and to have a range of about 200 miles.
Furthermore, he also stated that during the production of the all-electric Rapid a lot of consideration will be put into the amount of gas emissions since it is very important for the company for its models to be environmentally friendly. It really came as a shock the fact that Aston Martin turned electric, even though the announced price for the Rapid ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 is less shocking.
