Waterjets have been around for quite a while now, and are very well-known for their power. For those of you who do not know what is it, it`s basically a high pressure water pump flowing through a narrow point thus releasing powerful blast. The guy in the video decided to take advantage of that and have some fun. They took a skateboard and tested the power of the waterjet on its wheels. The 60,000 PSI created by the machine was more than enough to launch and completely destroy the wheel made out of dense plastic. They went a step further and decided to cut metal with it.
The metal base for the skateboard wheel could not withstand the power and was cut through it like a hot knife through butter. It was completely cut in half in an almost perfect straight line. As bonus footage, they took pair of Nike`s and tested them out too. What is most fascinating about it, is the slow motion videos where you can precisely see how the jet punctures through the items. So if the machine can cut metal with such ease, is there something that can stop it? Be careful not to put a finger in it though!
