Real aquaplaning usually occurs when your car`s tires can no longer dislodge enough water. Meaning that the tires lose contact and all grip with the road. This can happen to different degrees of intensity. Meaning that is not always so noticeable. Usually it`s caused by old tires that have low tread depth. However, the video below shows one of the most dangerous aquaplaning situations.

It`s so intense that causes multiple vehicles including a big-rig to spin out of control and crash. We really can`t see how someone can save his vehicle from sliding uncontrollably in this situation. The film of water on this road is massive.

There is so much water on this road that it looks like it should be used by boats instead of cars. Obviously this thick film of water caught all these vehicles unaware. It`s essential to decrease your speed in a situation like this as.

However, we can`t say for sure that in this situation it would`ve helped. Seriously, this road looks like a raging river and going behind the wheel is not a good idea. Maybe there was a bit of ice on that road as well?
