Today we have prepared you a really rare video, in which you will have the chance to watch how does the World`s biggest single-piece tire inflation cage looks like in “live action”. It is a recording of the OSHA Certification explosion test cage, especially designed and built for Earthmover and other big tires, mostly used in tractors and monster trucks. You will experience how it actually look when the tire is over inflated, which is of course followed by a big and loud explosion that literally breaks the entire cage.
So, what we have is the largest tire inflation cage in the world for single tire, with following dimensions: 48″ W x 72″ L x 90″ H, that weights 820 lbs and inside of it, there is 29.5 R25 L-3 Earthmover tire, reinforced with a three piece steel wheel. Than the gigantic tire is inflated to 150psi, followed with a loud BOOM!
We have an opportunity to watch it both in real time and in slow motion, as the cage is absorbing the explosion, without allowing any part of the tire to starts flying away and hurt somebody in the process.
