The space flight company owned by the Virgin Group, Virgin Galactic revealed to the public their latest design. Meet the VSS Unity! We are talking about the second Spaceplane out of five planned to be built! The first one – VSS Enterprise crashed in the desert while testing in October, 2014.
The audience in California had the pleasure of seeing this VSS Unity Spaceplane on 19th of February where they were played a video clip by Stephen Hawking who actually came up with the name “Unity” in order to express the unity people could get from exploring the space.
Virgin Galactic will have commercial flights for a price of $250K.
