Serving in the military is no easy task and there are tons of risk and anticipation, something every US army veteran is familiar with. There is your family who is waiting for you home and they do not have any information about you, nor you about your family home. This is fairly difficult to handle and only the ones who are mentally strong can bare the pressure. Moreover, you are putting your life at risk for months and months. Hereby we go through this amazing story in which we see the sad truth behind this police officer discovered by a US army veteran.
Namely, the veteran was going home when he was pulled over by a police officer, so he asked him what was wrong and whether he was going too fast. The police officer kindly said no and the only he stopped him was that he saw that the US army veteran had a bumper sticker. He thanked the veteran for the wonderful service the do the country. After a short talk and getting some information from the place he was, the police officer had a heart-breaking confession to say.
He went on saying that his son lost his life while serving the country and ask the veteran if he could get out of the vehicle and give him a hug. It would mean the world to him hence the veteran reminded him of his lost son.
