Today we have prepared one fine video that will really awake the need for speed spirit in you, as you are about to see two of the hottest hypercars that can be found on the marker and put their legendary speed at test. So, we have these two utterly fast cars, McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder, considered by many as the best when it comes to their performance abilities, speed and maneuvering. But just how well will these two monsters behave in a straight line battle against one of the best motorcycles out there on the market, the finest that Italian engineering has to offer at the moment: Ducati 1199 Superleggera.
So here are the numbers: With a price tag of over $ 100 000, Ducati 1199 Superleggera is powered by a 1198cc Superquadro L Twin, V8 engine, mated to a 6 speed sequential, manual gearbox, with a total weight of a little over 400 pounds. In the Ducati specs, it says that the engine produces `over 200HP`. On the other side of the lane there is the P1 McLaren that costs about $ 1.4 million, with a twin turbo V8 with Hy-Kers, RWD under the hood, that produces 908HP at 7 500 rpm and 664 pounds feet of torque at 4000 rpm, mated to a 7 speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. And finally there is $ 1 million Porsche 918 Spyder, powered by two electric front and rear engines that gives a total output of 875HP at 8 500 rpm and 844 torque power at 4 000 rpm. Just like with P1, there is an automatic 7 speed dual-clutch transmission.
