Watching a video clip or a real-life drag strip face-off between two different muscle beasts that can actually be described as siblings, or at least very close cousins, like in this case, is always intriguing and highly appealing for every muscle car aficionado. And as I have probably said this in the past, that is the reason that every time we come across such a clip, which features that type of a drag strip action, we are showing it to you right away. Even when the quality of the video is not that good, also like in this case with the Dodge Challenger and the Dodge Viper. Simply -- Challenger vs Viper!
And with that, I do not mean or refer to the quality of the photography, but to the facts that besides the usual deficiency of information about the cars that we see (on which we got used to), the angle of the camera is not giving us a chance to see who is the winner, and there is absolutely no data about the times. But, for the sake of the thrill and the excitement of watching two muscle beasts like the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T battling on the strip against some of the latest models of the Dodge Viper SRT (we don`t know which year model it is), we are willing to forget about those weaknesses.
If you are also willing to do that, then I suggest you check out the video clip below and see how this great Dodge muscles drag battle looks like -- Challenger vs Viper! And if you want to see another drag battle between the Dodge Challenger Hellcat and the Dodge Viper TA, go to this link.
