A moment for history when the iconic DragBike racer Larry “Spiderman” McBride made a win in the finals at the Top Fuel Nitro motorcycle competition, achieving an incredible 5.830 seconds at 232.75 miles per hour.
This event happened more than three and a half years ago, at the Manufacturers Cup Finals, at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Georgia. The final was a real battle of the champions, facing two legends: Larry “Spiderman” McBride with his Ray Price Top Fuel Nitro entry and Tommy Grimes on a V-Twin Top Fuel Harley.
And after some suspense at the beginning, before the race starts, Larry Spiderman catapulted himself and almost burned the asphalt, living a black trail behind and the incredible time of 5.830 seconds, with a speed of 232.75 miles per hour. And what is to be expected from a motorcycle with an engine that generates 1 000 horsepower!?
Another thing that made this race going down in history is that it was the very first time when V-Twin Top Fuel Nitro bike was up against Top Fuel Nitro Methane injected motorcycle. Watch the video and see how the history is being made.
