Over the years we have seen absolutely amazing cars, boats and trucks, but have you ever heard about the most powerful boat that was ever made i.e. the Aquarama Twin Lamborghini V12 engines that when both are combined can produce staggering 700 HP! This awesome boat and its story dates back all the way to 1963 when Ferrucio Lamborghini asked Carlo Riva to put two of his engines into Riva`s Aquarama. And so they did and this boat became one of the most glorious European boats ever made and it reined the seas for years and years. The Twin Lamborghini Aquarama was a super expensive boat and only those wealthy enough could have afford it.
They were people such as the prince of Monaco, Reinier and Peter Sellers. Something shocking happened in 1968 when Ferrucio Lamborghini commissioned his Aquarama and ordered Twin Lamborghini 4.0L V12s from an Espada road car and make the fastest such boat ever made! It took just three months to build it. Due to problems with the engines themselves, they were replaced by the new owner whom Lamborghini sold it to in 1989.
After this owner had passed away in 2002, the boat was nowhere to be seen for years and years until it was finally discovered in 2010 in Punta, Italy. The boat underwent a restoration process which lasted three years but they tried to make every single part as original as it can be. What do you think, is this the most beautiful boat ever made?
