For many years fans have enjoyed the insane entertainment delivered by the contenders in the Kleinschmidt`s mud bogs. However, back in 2014 the organizers of this event decided to up the game and introduced the Kleinschmidt Nationals. Now, besides the treacherous mud bogs, we get to see some pretty insane truck long jump competitions. It`s actually a gravity-defying jump ramp. This is pretty insane because watching trucks fly like this is pretty uncommon. In this one, you can see all kinds of custom made off-road trucks flying in the air to make the longest distance possible. The modifications done on these trucks is pretty ingenious as well.
There is one truck in particular that managed leave us in awe and that`s the 01 truck that competes in tribute to the duke boys. If you compete with that number you better live up to it. Nevertheless, his performance sure manages to honor that number. However, with truck long jump competitions, there is one thing that just doesn`t seem entertaining at all, for the drivers that is. When you look at those landings, you can feel the driver`s pain as well. We hope that these drivers modified their machines with some pretty serious shocks because obviously they need them.
