TOP 5 – Immense Ship Beaching Into Shore, Getting Ready To Be Scrapped! One Of A Kind Footage!

The global economy remains relying on the shipping industry. Massive cargo carriers are responsible for transporting ninety percent of the international trade. In their final days, these hulking leviathans are brought to shore and salvaged in a process known as ship beaching or ship breaking. Here, layer by layer, ships are pulled to pieces, stripped right to the bone. This video comes from Aliaga, Turkey. Beached and obsolete, Aliaga is their last port of call. However, in this ship graveyard, there are sparks of new life, dismantling spare parts and materials for recycling. Big vessels like these in the video, take at least 60 days to be fully dismantled.

The steel is then reclaimed, and help ease demand at steel factories. When beaching freight boats as huge as these, you would`ve thought that everything goes down to science and precision when maneuvering. We picture that captains are gently bringing them into shore every time. However, the ship beaching process looks a lot rougher. It looks like the ships are literally crashing into shore. It`s a rough-and-tumble process which is very interesting to watch, to say the least. In this video, you can see a chosen selection of five large freight ships that are being brought into the Aliaga scrapyard. Enjoy the video.
