There is no doubt that every true Detroit muscle aficionado has his/her own personal favorite, or a period from the history of the production of the American muscle cars, which he finds to be the best, most productive and creative, and so on. But every now and then, a person runs upon a ride that takes you by a surprise, and makes you feel weak in your knees, just from looking at it.
That`s pretty much how we felt when we came across this purple muscle beast, from the mid 70`s, as we were `hunting` for a great classic Detroit muscle at 2016 SEMA. It`s named “Project Yankee”, and it`s actually a 1975 Dodge Dart Sport, a proud product of the Speedhunters.
Under the hood, there is a Mopar 5.7 liter engine, from the 3rd generation of the HEMI Crate motors, with TTi engine mounts, TTi long tube headers, an exhaust system built by Caliber Customs, custom intake with K&N filter, a A833DD manual transmission, Full Hotchkis suspension, and adjustable shockers.
But, you better have a look at the video, see this jaw-dropping beast yourselves, and later on, if you feel like it, you can share your thoughts about it with us in the comment section below!
