Drag races are gaining popularity all over the world which makes us particularly happy! And because conventional drag races are so popular, some people are looking for slightly different ways to show the world that drag racing can be performed elsewhere besides the race track! That`s how sand drag racing was born! Today`s video features one sand dragster that is made for winning! We are referring to KONG! The ultra-lightweight, 500 horsepower Polaris RZR XP900!
Originally this vehicle was a two seater, but Mark Queen took things in his hands and turned it into a central seated vehicle! Everything in this vehicle is custom, except the transmission. The Polaris RZR XP900 is powered by an Arctic Cat Z1 Crate engine and is receiving additional power from the Queen Racing Turbo Kit with Garret Turbo! This team had some “problems” with the horses and they mounted a 6 foot wheelie bar to tame them! Furthermore, there is one touching story about this vehicle`s name. It is named after Govacho`s dog who died the night when the XP900 was supposed to be loaded in the truck. Find out more about this, and the rest of the parts by clicking play!
