This mechanical invention is one of those things that would definitely not impress some of those big fans (and owners) of the big and powerful trucks that are in a constant `battle` with mud, and in a constant search for new improvements for their powerful machines to overcome every possible obstacle in the swamps and bounty holes. Because if there were more things like the one that you are going to see in the video below called Swamp Traxx, they/we would not have events like “Louisiana Mud Fest” and others, very much alike.
Ok, if we are for real, we have got to admit that this is not entirely true, but it sure makes those mud-trucks to look pretty much inferior.
Swamp Traxx appears to be some kind of a big moving platform, actually it is an additionally powered track machine, hydrostatically driven, that features a strong and reinforced frame, with a Heavy Duty Torflex Suspension that gives it an ability to carry payload up to 30 000 lbs across those 28″ wide D-dent tracks. Its capability to cross over a variety of different terrains, which includes mud, swamp, sand, snow and others alike, is not just very practical, but simply astonishing.
