Here is one interesting and suspenseful quarter-mile drag race between two weirdly similar and legendary GT cars, which by many sports car experts are considered to be the very cream in the whole GT sports cars range. Both of these beauties are powered by a 3.8 liter six-cylinder motors, and additionally force fed by twin turbochargers that makes them sound like a real skyrockets. Also, both of them are (technically) four-seaters, but those small back benches cannot be taken seriously, unless you want to punish someone for bad behavior. As you know well, 2014 Porsche 991 Turbo S, as well as the 2011 Nissan GTR R35 is very fast, and both of them has a rapid-fire dual-clutch transmissions, and in this case, they have similar modifications in the exhaust system.
If you are into the statistic and ranking lists, you will find the Porsche 911 being ranked as the third, and the 2011 Nissan GTR R35 at number four amongst the fastest accelerating sports cars, just as they come out of the production line.
But as I have said, these two that you will watch in this drag race video are tuned and modified, so this ranking does not apply to them. I will not be a spoiler and tell you the outcome of this drag face-off, but will only mention that it is very, very close one.
