We sure do love cars that have been restored to pure perfection and without a flaw. Watching a video of these cars is what makes us happy and what fulfills our day, and every time we wish for more and more. But, it is not always the cars that are perfect i.e. in this video we take a look at something different, a boat that has been resurrected and brought back to life yet once again. We are talking about none other than the mighty Petrol Torpedo 305, the boat that has played a major rule in the WWII and we have not seen much of it ever since.
But, the National WWII Museum in New Orleans recovered the very same boat back in 2007 and began the restoring process. Immediately after the war these boats, which were once used to take down enemy boats with couple of thousands of torpedoes once in range, were turned into something else and had other uses, most of which became fishing boats.
But, after this specific Petrol Torpedo 305, the one we see in the video, was restored, it became the only such fully functional boat with such use. It took many people to finish it and over $200,000 of donations, as well as 100,000 hours of work. Watching this beauty in action yet once again is something gorgeous. Moreover, the boat is capable of moving at very high speed too!
