Given the fact that only until the late 90`s, the most iconic Japanese race machine, the Nissan GTR was far from being popular in the United States (the situation was not that much different in Europe, either), the car simply wasn`t imported in big numbers. As a matter of fact, until the Nissan Skyline GTR R34 got out on the market, it was even illegal to import a Skyline GTR in America (for the reasons we won`t be explaining now). Thus, the Japanese didn`t bother a lot to produce that many Nissan Skyline GTR examples with a left hand drive.
But fortunately for all Gearheads in the world, the last years of the Skyline GTR R34 series, changed that. And when the Nissan GTR R35 got out on the market, it was completely normal to see this awesome and ultra-powerful ride with a left hand drive.
