Here is a little something from the other side of the planet. We present to you the first Russian Sports car, Marussia B1 and Marussia B2 from Marussia Motors. It is pronounced ma-rus-ya, for your convenience.
The B1 and B2 are similar to each other, looking from a technical aspect, yet they are designed differently. Although the B1 is the first car of the series, both cars have the same engine (built by British company Cosworth), suspension, brakes, and even the price doesn`t differ. The manufacturer came up with an announcement that they plan to build 2999 units of the B1 model. When it comes to the B2 Russian sports car, there were only 500 units made, all sold in 2012.
Let`s mentions something more about the specifications of these cars. They have 2.8 L, turbocharged, V8, mid-mounted engine, coming with 360 or 420 horsepower. With this monster, it goes from 0 to 100 kmh in only 3.8 seconds. Moreover, they have rear wheel drive and 6 gear automatic transmission. You can see these cars posing in front of the cameras and also on the highway. Although they look equally good parked and in movement, they are made for the highway. Which one you like it more? B1 or B2?
