Smart is in the same boat with several other car companies that started broadening their global product lineup this year. After the announcement of two new body styles, engines, transmissions and a bunch of color choices for its new models, the company producing Smart E Drive revealed that it will introduce a 41 HP electric drive (ED) that was expected to arrive late next year.
However, according to Automotive news, Smart will postpone the launch of this promising model for several months, thus now it is expected that the ED will hit the US market in 2017. Anyway, the company will still keep its presence among car lovers with the brand new ForTwo model that will appear this November.
