After the BMW 6 Series Coupe was discontinued, this is a right move by BMW to fulfill the lineup with this new amazing executive coupe-shaped model. As well all know the rumors of the BMW 8 Series Coupe have been around for years and we are happy it’s finally happening. BMW will finally have a luxury flagship like their competitor Mercedes-Benz.
The original BMW 8 was built with V8 or V12 engines, from 1989 to 1999 and in that time was a technological powerhouse, but at the same time was a failure at the marketplace, due to the very high price tag and the rise of the SUVs segment at the expense of the luxury coupes segment. We will wait to see if the brand new BMW 8 Series can do it better then its predecessor.
