Since the end of the golden era of the American muscle cars, the new Dodge Barracuda is highly expected to be the next big American legendary car on the block. Many gearheads and muscle cars enthusiasts has started to compare this model with the newest SRT Challenger. Dodge officials claim it will be faster from all the models in this class, but it is difficult to say if the new Barracuda will perform better on the road than its strong competition.
However, if you are willing to buy a new luxury sports car maybe you will need to wait to see in person the all the Dodge Barracuda.
The rumors says that the interior will be basically from Challenger with few updates on the design and that’s another proof the car will look good from inside as well. It is expected to have better aerodynamics from the Challenger and better quality materials from the inside.
Many renderings and ketches has been made trough out the years, but the first clay model and the pre-production prototype of the new Barracuda should be unveiled this year. The guys in charge from Dodge are definitely determined to design and produce a great American sports car that will compete with the Camaro and Mustang.
The all new Dodge Barracuda will be equipped with the Pentastar V6 engine and the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 will be the mode powerful and expensive option. The bigger engine should be capable of generating 700 hp and the fuel economy should be better due to the newest fuel injection technology.
The release date should be in the first half of 2021 and this car should have a starting price tag of less than $50,000.
