Restyled and more Aggressive Exterior and Interior!
From Hyundai it is expected to completely redesign the interior and exterior of the new Hyundai 2014 Elantra. Automobile spies have shot the 2014 Hyundai Elantra on the public roads test drive in South Korea.
In order to be competitive with the recently unveiled Honda Civic and the upcoming Toyota Corolla, Hyundai will give the Elantra a styling makeover. On the spy photos, under the heavy camouflage on the new Hyundai 2014 Elantra a new front fascia, restyled hexagonal Hyundai family grille and newly headlights with LED daytime lights can be seen. A set of redesigned alloy-wheels, more aggressive front bumper, new rear tailpipe and taillamps are also applied.
A new Turbo 1.6 and 2.0 GDI Engines will be Available!
The greatest news for the sport performance lovers is the information that 1.6-turbo GDI engine with 201 hp and 195 lb.-ft. of torque, could be available in the new Elantra (this engine is already installed in the 2014 Kia Forte).
According to the latest news, besides the current 1.8-liter engine, Hyundai might offer the new 2.0-liter GDI engine with 173 hp, also available in the 2014 Kia Forte.
The Sales will start at the Beginning of 2014!
It is expected to be officially launched at the second half of this year and the sales is expected to start at the beginning of next year.
