The First 2014 Genesis Sedan Won the North American Car of the Year Award!
The first Hyundai Genesis Sedan was revealed at the 2008 North American International Auto Show like a premium luxury sedan. This vehicle won the North American Car of the Year Award at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.
It was eligible for the top prize and represents a very big leap for Korea car manufacturer.. The Genesis is Hyundai`s first attempt to reach drivers from the upscale, while this company is working on its brand`s roots with lower-cost models.

Based on the spy photos, the web site Carscoops provided an illustrated glimpse of the new 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan.
The Peter Schreyer`s team has transferred all the modern curves and features from the concept car HCD-14 Genesis unveiled at this year`s Detroit Motor Show.
LED head and taillights are the detailed visual highlights, strategic placing of chrome-work, shut-lines at the windscreen and rear bumper.
Inside look of this premium sedan will be modern with the traditional dial look with center stack and digital touch screens.
Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy is implemented with shorter overhangs and smooth surfacing. Under the long powerful hood it is expected to be installed a 3.8-liter V6 or a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 8-speed auto transmission and a new 10-speed transmission to be introduced later on. The 2014 Genesis is also expected to offer all-wheel drive configurations.
Compared with its competitors BMW 5-series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Jaguar XF the 2014 Genesis sedan appears to be a strong rival.
