Hello my dear Mustang aficionados! Today we have prepared for all of you one pretty special video clip, in which you are going to see and hear pretty much about all details connected with the becoming of this special Ford Mustang, called the Fox project. Maybe some of you had already seen some photos, or maybe even certain clips while it was still a work in progress, but regardless of that, here we go with a footage and an overview about the Fox Mustang, when it is in its final stages of work on it, to go out for a suspension and break tests, on California`s Mulholland Highway!
In order to make a muscle car project like this done and ready, it takes about 18 months, and that is if you have a team of professionals working on it. In the case of this 1988 Ford Mustang LX (which was actually a California Highway patrol car), the guys from the Maximum Motorsports, did a full chassis built on the car, it has an independent rear suspension, a tubular K-member front suspension, it has a custom valve built stems, the entire geometry of the car has been changed, as well as many other original components that have been built and things done, to make this Fox Mustang project what it is today – one hell of custom built muscle ride!
But it is one thing to read about it, and completely another listening from the man who knows best about it himself, while you are looking at it, and get a visual feedback on everything. So without further adieu, have a look at the following clip and find out everything about this awesome ride!
