I`m pretty sure that many of you have already heard the news that the new 2016 Chevy El Camino SS is about to make its big comeback on the American muscle car scene, after about 3 decades of absence, since its production line was ceased, somewhere in the late 80s. El Camino`s beginnings are starting in 1959, when it was constructed as a rivalry vehicle to Ford Ranchero. However, it was not well accepted by the customers, especially not the way the company had hoped for, so it practically vanished from the market only after a couple of years of production. It re-appeared 16 years later in 1987, and it got much better welcome than the first time.
The new Chevy El Camino concept is expected to appear on the market with two types of engines. The base version will be the 6.0 liter V8 motor that will deliver 360 HP, and the smaller variant, the 3.2 liter V6 motor, which will be able to generate 300 HP.
