Cars need love! You need to love your car. If not, your car won`t love you back. Simply as that. So that is why, when you prepare your car to enter a ferry, you are careful. But sometimes, when entering a passenger ferry in Greece, you can`t give that much love to your car. We have a very bizarre video and a very chaotic way of shipping in Greece!
We can see that in this video the weather conditions are dreadful. In this chaotic event, ferry workers are rushing towards an adjustable ramp so they can stand on it and keep it in place. All this in order for the cars to drive safely inside a ferry. The ferry workers must stand on it because it is a makeshift ramp. An improvisation for a real ramp, ramp made out of a carpet.
But, they never thought of an outcome like this. They never thought that maybe an insane windy weather might occur. So, the poor ferry workers must stand on the ramp to weigh it down.
We can see all kinds of vehicles, rushing erratically over the makeshift ramp. But, they are struggling very much as the huge waves rise higher. This is truly an incident. No regard for the safety and health of this ferry workers, whatsoever. In this incident it was very fortunate that a bigger incident didn`t occur. For example, we can see a couple of ferry workers almost losing their foot at different stages and are very fortunate not to be blown off!
We can see how the ferry workers are immensely struggling keeping the makeshift ramp. Because of the high winds it is incredibly hard for the workers to keep the adjustable ramp in place. It is supposed to stay horizontal…but, as we can see, they are struggling like hell. It is a wonder the ramp didn`t blow off up into the air. These ferry workers sure deserve a bonus for this exhibition of shipping in Greece.
