Despite watching fail videos all the time and being used to the fact that accidents can happen literary to anyone this specific harbor crash is surely very strange and it would make you think whether it was possible to have been avoided. We all know that maneuvering a big ship is a difficult task and the responsibility is massive, especially when the ship docks in and out from the harbor. It is the most risky task that the captain has and being super careful while doing it is crucial. But what actually happened during this harbor crash?
Well, in the short video we see people on the shore who are waiting for the big ship to be docked nearby. However shortly after they notice that something strange is happening and they run away from the fence.
The ship was not slowing down at all! Despite being very close and was about to make a stop, it still continued on going very fast and eventually crashing itself on the harbor. The people were frightened and did not know what to do. Though we cannot be 100% sure what had really happened, we can just assume that the whole accident had happened due to failure in the brake system. Other explanations are simply illogical and we guess that the captain simply could not have done such huge mistake if there was not for some other mechanical problem in the ship.
