Even though we are website that mostly focuses on cars, that doesn`t mean we don`t respect other means of transportation. However, when it comes to engines, the first thing that pops to our mind is a car engine. This time we decided to change things a little bit, and to show you a selfmade jet engine! In these times of cheap flights, many people have boarded an airplane. This is why we are sharing this video of a jet engine made by a 3d printer, so you can see the magic of these types of engines. Also, we have to say that this is only a concept model.
Anyways, the creator of this selfmade jet engine made sure to thoughtfully explain how it works. Each part has a different color, and each color represents something. In order, white blades are the intake, blue blades are the compression, the pink ones represent power and the green blades are the exhaust. Air is blown inside the engine which makes the pink blades spin. Connected to the pink blades are the blue blades, which spin and compress the air.
