The famed Swedish builder Svempa Bergendahl is renowned for building Scania trucks since 1970. The truck you are about to see in the footage below is about his latest creation called – Scania Chimera! Like his previous creations, this one is generating a lot of followers as well. It is a semi-truck with a futuristic outlook. The engineered design with its attractively exposed engine will definitely leave you in awe. It`s fitted with state-of-the-art technology and uses high-end materials. The Chimera is being prepared for hybrid e-technology in the future as well. It is a real treat for all Scania fans indeed!
The specifications of the Scania Chimera are staggering! It is powered by a 16.4L V8 engine and custom made stainless steel exhaust header with six Holset turbos! The engine delivers 1,460HP with the plan to be upgraded up to 2190HP. All that power goes through a six-speed Allison modified transmission.

The chassis is built by Laxa Special Vehicles using components out of a Scania R-cab and P-cab. Thanks to its tubular steel frame, the truck only weighs around 10,000 pounds. Bergendahl also has announced that he is planning on building a huge boat with a Scania engine. That would be a sight to bask upon as well!
