When someone says Hot Rod, the first thing that comes to our mind is a typical Hot Rod that had been around for many decades. But what about an RV Hot Rod?
They are fairly rare to be found nowadays and once you get the chance to buy one be sure to take care of it. But in the following video we take a look at something very different and this is not your typical Hot Rod. It is something you would never expect to see in your life. This is 1971 RV sleeper which was developed and modified by Wegner Motorsport LS. It is called the “Happy Camper” and its name does not precisely indicate what is under the hood. This beast has staggering 900 HP and it created a wicked sound all by the help of the Flowmaster Mufflers.
But do we see it in action? Of course we do though the video is very short, just 7 seconds, this Hot Rod RV surely convinced us about its power. We can see it performing a burnout and it does 0 to 50 in just 3 seconds! This is not something you would expect from such vehicle. Imagine taking this beast on a road trip and going at high speed on the highway. There is not much work done on the exterior, it seems to be the normal and basic setup. There is not any information about the interior and other modifications but this engine swap is all we need. What do you think, can you name any other RV Hot Rod?
