You have probably all heard of the Richard Hammond crash with the Electric Supercar Rimac Concept One during the Grand Tour filming in Switzerland last week. Fortunately Richard was conscious and he climbed out from the crushed vehicle himself, just before the car burst into flames. He was immediately flown by Air Ambulance Helicopter to a near hospital in St. Gallen…
None of Hammond’s injuries are life-threatening and we hope he will be back on the Grand Tour Show very soon. We wish Richard very fast recovery and we wish all the best to his family. You can see the moment where Hammond lost control of the vehicle and started sliding into a crash.
Thankfully he can still smile and have fun, so we’re looking forward to see him back soon.
You can see another video with Richard from the St.Gallen Hospital in Switzerland a day after the Richard Hammond crash on PAGE2!
Moreover, check out Richard’s full bio here!
In the video below you can see Richard speaking about the crash and his knee injury just the day after the accident in the St.Gallen Hospital in Switzerland. He already had a knee surgery and he is recovering pretty fast.
As you can notice on the video Richard can still have fun and smile, so we are really looking forward to see him back on the show very very soon.
Wishing you a speedy recovery Richard and remind the doctors not to remove that gigantic magical “horseshoe” you’ve been lugging around. 😉 Best of luck to you, and look after yourself my good man.
