Besides its awesome performance and aesthetics, the Mangusta De Tomaso has been largely forgotten by history. On the other hand, its successor Pantera De Tomaso has had a bigger life span thus being better known. Nevertheless, the mark that was left by the Mangusta is undisputable!
The Mangusta De Tomaso is extremely rare as well. Only 401 cars were built which only half of these are known to exist today. In this video we have a very special specimen of the Mangusta owned by Dick Ruzzin who is a retired GM designer. You can see the Mangusta in action and hear its powerful soundtrack!

In this second video you`ll be able to see a very special 1969 Mangusta De Tomaso. The car is owned by Daryl Addams which he bought it in 1999. Back then he inspected 23 Mangusta cars before buying the right one. This one! We can see the uniqueness of the engine compartment which opens sideways. Under the hood lies a 302 Ford small-block V8 engine with a ZF transaxle. The body of the car is impressive as well. The front-end is composed of low headlights and a beautiful little spoiler at the bottom. A real collectible right out of the box!
