Over the period of this last decade we have seen some of the most amazing record breaking in terms of speed and power, with the car industry being tougher than ever, and that is why we take a look at this video in which this record breaking Nissan GT-R has an amazing performance. The drag strip is an amazing place to test your car limits, thus meaning that many records are and will be broken in the future.
This Nissan GT-R has been modified by the company called Extreme Turbo Systems and they had definitely done a great job. In three runs, the Nissan manages to break two records i.e. break its own record set up just minutes before. In the 1st run they decide to go with a slower power pass just to verify the traction on the road.
Nothing significantly happens here and they are all preparing for the 2nd run. This time, they cranked up the boost higher than they have previously done ever before. The car was ready and in a sudden burst of speed, it can be seen literary flying over the track. Eventually, it managed to break the world record on this ¼ mile run and set a time of 6.91 seconds with speed of 195 MPH. After the track warmed up, it was time for the 3rd run. This time the record breaking Nissan GT-R got even better with a time of 6.88 seconds at a speed of 222.93 MPH. What an awesome record this is, but can anyone improve it?
