I think we can all agree that Formula 1 is awesome! It has amazing drivers and the very best in modern car technology, but don`t you think it could be way more exciting? I mean sure, the cars are top of the line and the drivers are some of the best athletes on the planet but that`s exactly why it`s made too easy! I wanna see them race some classics in the rain, like Nico Rosberg, Nico Hulkenberg and Pascal Wehrlein did with these Mercedes classics! Rosberg had the ex-Mika Hakkinen Championship-winning 1998 McLaren MP4/13, Wehrlein was behind the wheel of a 1954 W196R and Hulkenberg roared a 1934 W25.
They thunder through the Hockenheimring in Germany showcasing exactly how much talent they can have with this unique opportunity. Don`t you think it would be fun to watch a race car from back in the day go wheel-to-wheel with a more modern variant? It doesn`t even have to be Mercedes classics in the rain, as long as there`s racing and classics involved. Even just a simple exhibition run with vehicles that haven`t fired up in decades would be amazing to watch! The masters may now take the floor!
