Nobody likes scratches. Whether the reason you want them gone is to sell your car or they just annoy you so much, you probably want them gone. Rachel De Barros shows us how to remove scratches using a store-bought kit. First, she washes her car because you can`t do this with a dirty vehicle. Then, Rachel takes 3000 grade sandpaper and sands down the scratched area. You can also use 5000 grade sandpaper if you`re afraid of causing more damage.
Then, she takes a medium-grade foam mini-buff attached to a regular household drill and sands down the area just a little bit more with the help of some cream that comes in the package. If your car is a lighter color, the scratches will have disappeared by now, but you`re still not done!
Finally, she takes the finer mini-buff and sands down the area again with some more cream. After a quick wash, presto – the scratch is completely gone! You can`t even tell where it was! Of course, it`s always a good idea to wash and wax your car after the process is complete so that the scratch will be fully invisible. So, there you have it folks, the easiest way to remove scratches from your car!
