In 1993 decided to commemorate the 911 launch with a 30th Anniversary model that goes by the name of 964 C4. It`s based on the 911`s 4WD and wider turbo body. However, it`s fitted with small lifting wing and normally aspirated engine. This Porsche version gave birth of a glorious line of Porsche cars. Those cars are the 996 C4S and 993 C4S. However, this video gives one awesome tribute to the Porsche 964 C4 that was introduced in 1993. It gives us one awesome perspective on how that normally aspirated engine sounds. What better way to hear the soundtrack of that magnificent engine than to fit a mic inside the engine bay?!
Yeah folks, we got exactly that in the video below. One gearhead and a Porsche 964 C4 owner decided to fit a microphone in the engine bay. Now, considering the amazing soundtrack, we can`t really say if this microphone left the engine bay unscathed. The microphone could`ve easily been severely damaged by the monstrous Porsche 964 C4`s monstrous sounds. Nevertheless, even if that was the case, we can safely say that the mic was destroyed for the greater good which is delivering us the soundtrack of a lifetime.
