The 8th stage represented the opening of the other half of this year`s edition of Dakar Rally and of course is expected to bring new challenges to all drivers and riders as well. This particular stage, was 244 miles long from Salta to Belen and the winner is Nasser Al Attiyah with his MINI!
He enhanced his pace during the 7th stage, in which he finished at the 3rd place. When it comes to the bikers, Toby Price from KTM won the eight stage and left Honda`s representative Paulo Gonçalves behind him. Truck-wise, Iveco` driver Gérard De Rooy claimed the victory in this stage.
