We present you one very amusing rebuilt case. This is a 1969 Mustang custom built on the basis of a 2005 Mustang Saleen s281. This amazing undertaking was performed solely by TransAm Specialities of Florida. Yes, these are the guys who managed to combine two cars into one.
The floor of the car wasn`t cut, so it there was no impact on the wheel base geometry. This is a perfect mixture of new tech and the magic of the sixties. The guys fused the best of the two cars with great tenderness, keeping the original lines of the `69 Mustang. There wasn`t a single person who wasn`t flabbergasted by this jaw dropping design.
As we mentioned before, the geometry of the 2005 Saleen is kept, so this car is beautifully aligned. Saleen has upgraded the suspension and the brakes who were provided with 13 inch Brembo calipers and rotors. The engine boosts 400 horsepower with a 420 foot of torque. The electronics are pure Saleen, including the ABS, the A/C, the navigation system, the traction control, the air bags and the wire harness. The tires, the rims and the windshield wipers are the only parts of the car who weren`t originally made by Ford and Saleen.
This custom Mustang has won the “Best Ford” award at the “the dub show tour 2011”, held in the Miami convention center.
Today, it value is estimated at $ 120, 000, but we are sure that it`s worth much more.
