Whenever a brand new piece of car technology comes out, we all love to test it out, or least take a look at a video in which someone else does the test for us. There are many awesome breakthroughs that have taken place in these last couple of years in the production of cars, but it is time to see how well will a brand new diesel engine prove against an old petrol one. Two mighty Volvos go head to head on different type of tests. First up we take a look at the 2017 Volvo V90 D5. It has a 2.0L two cylinder new diesel engine that is able to make 235 HP, and can go from 0 to 60 in about 7 seconds.
On the other side we take a look at the 1995 Volvo 850 T5 Estate that has 2.3L 5 cylinder turbo petrol engine that is able to make 225 HP and can go from 0 to 60 in 7.2 seconds. First up we take a look at the drag race between these two cars. After a close and level start, the brand new Volvo V90 seems to grab the win by couple of second difference.
Next up we take a look at the rolling start race, and in contrary to the first one, in this one the old Volvo surprisingly grabs the win over the V90.
