The name Lennart Ribring might not mean much to you, but it sure means a lot to those who sold him his Mustang GT Fastback 5.0! This old man is 97 years old and lives in Sweden, but he`s got the spirit of a young car lover. 50 years ago, he bought the original and today he bought the modern version of his favorite car. He knew he needed to go all out and not buy some EcoBoost, but instead going for the powerful V8 engine. Right now, this grandpa is the oldest Mustang driver in the world, according to Ford`s Swedish division.
His son says that the grandpa is more than fitting to drive the Mustang, having great eyesight and reflexes like no other 97 year old. And why wouldn`t he, if he spent his entire life behind the wheel even a V8 Mustang GT Fastback 5.0 isn`t hard to be tamed! However, there`s another level to Mr. Ribring`s driving abilities – the beast he purchased isn`t even an automatic, rather a manual that he can still drive without any problems.
You can see the happiness on the grandpa`s face when he drives this absolute monster of a car. He had probably been waiting for this moment for years, if not decades, not knowing if he would ever get it, and now he finally has.
