Here is one original 2004 John Deere Gator HPX, powered by a Yanmar turbo diesel engine that is producing 21 HP. The owner of this cute Gator decided to boost up its engine power in 2008, by installing a turbocharger on it, and of course, transforming it into a much more fun ride. So now his green Gator is giving an output to a 35 to 40 HP, with a 5 to 7 boost that is coming out of the installed turbocharger. And after you are going to watch the video below, I think that you will agree that now it looks and feels more like a sports car, than a tractor.
Even though very fast and capable of developing high speed, he is not really using it as a sports car, but rather for having an outdoor fun on off-road tracks and (like in this case), to do some donuts and have lots of fun, accompanied by his dog.
However, this is not the first time that the owner of this great green 2004 John Deere Gator HPX is doing something like this, boosting up the engine power of his ride. He is also known by doing something similar to his lawnmower, which he also boosted up with Kubota motor a few years back, and made it generate 21 HP.
