Koenigsegg is known for creating fantastic cars. The Koenigsegg Agera R is no exception. In the video, a driver and a passenger take the Agera R for a bit of a spin before hitting the test track. The eight-minute video mainly exemplifies the engine and its characteristics.
Overall, the Koenigsegg Agera R is a vehicle in which grace and beauty stand side by side with a little power. The engine runs at 1,140 horsepower at 7,100 revolutions per minute. The Agera R only takes 2.8 seconds to go from 0-62 mph. You don`t see a whole lot of that in the video, as it consists of the pair driving at a fast pace all the way through.
Since the car has such an amazing acceleration rate, braking is important – and it seems Koenigsegg did not skimp out when it comes to brakes. The braking distance measures out at 30.5 meters. Along with the brakes, the Agera R is great for the environment. The emission levels are Euro V and level 2.
The body of the car is one of the many high points of the vehicle, as the chassis consists of carbon fiber with aluminum honeycomb and an interesting system that holds integrated fuel tanks. These integrated fuel tanks help provide more fluidity for the car.
The engine of the Agera consists of a 5-liter V8 with four valves per cylinder. It also contains four high-power fuel pumps and twin turbo, 1.4-bar boost pressure. If the engine doesn`t blow you away, then the equipment will fill in that gap.
The Koenigsegg Agera R flashes dual air bags for safety, four-point racing harnesses, a rearview camera and leather carpets for ultimate comfort.
