We all know the reputation of the famous Japanese rocket-sled, the Nissan GTR R35 Godzilla, as one of the world`s fastest sports cars, and one of the most desirable imports that has ever stepped on the US soil. But only a fool will just sit back and leave someone else taking the glory on his home ground, especially when there are so many domestic muscle monsters that can sweep out the floor with any other famous import there is out there. With a car like the legendary Chevy Corvette, or the most powerful muscle monster that has ever come out of the assembly line from any Detroit factory, the Dodge Challenger SRT8 Hellcat, and the many awesome variants of the Ford Mustang, there are so many options to face off the Japanese GTR R35.
Today we are going to show you one short drag race that is a real pleasure to watch for any Gearhead and street race aficionado. The car that will `look in the face` of the GTR R35 is another rocket from the Dodge range of muscle monsters, the 2014 Viper SRT. You know that we are not very fond of illegal street races, and we strongly recommend against it, but since we have such two beasts, 550 HP Nissan GTR and the 600+ HP Bolton Viper, we have felt compelled to show it to you.
