New ix35 is on the move! Hyundai upgraded its fastest selling model in Europe!

New ix35 is More Suitable for the European Customers

The New ix35 made its debut this year`s Geneva Motor Show as improved version of fastest selling model in Europe with big range of technological upgrades making it even more suitable for the customers. Just few weeks ago, in a different project, Eco-friendly ix35 Fuel Cell was officially produced in Korea. When the original ix35 made its debut in March 2010, it was hard to satisfy very big consumer demand. ix35 became fastest selling Hyundai vehicle in the company`s history, exceeding all the expectations of this company`s decision makers. 220,000 units have been sold to March 2013, only in Europe.

New ix35 Efficiency upgrades

“Theta II” 2.0-litre gasoline engine was replaced with the new more efficient “Nu” Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine. More powerful engine offers more torque of 205 Nm with 20, 9 kg/m, 166 ps and Euro 5 emission standard. This new engine with GDI technology was developed in Hyundai`s R&D Center in Rüsselsheim, Germany. New LP EGR (Low Pressure Exhaust Gas Recirculation) was installed for improving the efficiency and new automatic six-speed transmission was developed for 2.0-litre `R` engine with 136 ps and 4WD.

More Refined Technology

With Hyundai`s new Flex Steer system customer choice has been expanded. Three modes allow the driver to choose between normal, comfort or sport driving options in order to suit the environment. Customers can now benefit from different options: heated steering wheel, Electronic Stability Control, parking sensors on the front, the new 4,2-inch TFT display with high resolution, Bi-Xenon lights are offered also, as well as improved LED daytime display and newly designed 16″, 17″ and 18″ alloy wheels.

Improved Quality of Interior Material

Interior material are now with higher quality and chrome shines on the dashboard`s air vents, stylish refreshment is completed with illuminated cup holders and shade band on the wind screen. The new ix35 is designed in HME TC (European Technical Center) in Rüsselsheim, Germany and is produced in HMMC (Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech) in the Czech Republic.
