Most of the times, when you set out to accomplish something you want it to be unique. Well, one team has succeeded in that by creating these two muscle car builds which are totally unique and maybe first of their kind. Usually, when you see a Chevrolet Camaro or a Dodge Charger, the cars will be fitted with stock engines. Some of these stock engines can crank out a big amount of power. However, what this builder did is taking the two aforementioned muscle cars and combining them with the coolest engine combination ever. Instead of modifying the stock engines, these guys revamped everything, throwing a Duramax diesel and Cummins diesel in the vehicles, respectively.
Both of these muscle car builds have a big amount of wrench time. Everything from the suspension to the transmission setup has been modified. Surprisingly, fitting the 12-valve Cummins in the Charger was not this team’s biggest problem. Rather it was the process of converting a car that was never offered with a manual transmission option. Now, this ludicrous Charger is fitted with a NV4500 5-speed manual out of a one-ton truck. As for the Camaro, the handful of the Duramax 6.6 engine accessories had to be reinvented and custom modifications were incorporated to ensure that the motor sat as low as possible. Enjoy the beautiful cinematography!
