Check out these bunch of bikers at the Moto3 get knocked over by a slippery track on the French Moto Grand Prix this year.
The Moto3 is always exciting to watch, but sometimes unpredictable things happen which can either damage the experience or make it even more fun, depending on which way you look at it. This time though, it was definitely not fun. While making a sharp left turn, some slippery track gets in the way and almost half of the entire Moto3 field slid off the tracksc and into the gravel. A full thirteen bikes went down and hopefully there was nobody hurt, but I did see one of the guys get whacked with a bike that slid out right after him!
I don`t know what exactly happened, but that slippery track had to have been caused by something! Now, I doubt that someone threw a banana peel on there like in the cartoons, but there could have been an oil spill or something and all of them lost their balance.
Also, it could have been that the first one to fall was too fast to make the turn and trying to cut too close to the corner got everyone to follow him, so they all slid out instead. Whatever it was, it was terrible and I hope we don`t see these sights too often in the future!
