Drag races are everyone`s favorite event to watch. Boy, do we love the smell of the tires and the blood-boiling sounds the cars make. All of the cars at the drag race have wheels smaller in diameter in order to perform better, right! Wrong! The following video is a perfect example of how a car performs at the same race but with massive 24 inch golden rims. What you are about to see in the beginning of the video is the same car, which by the way is the Monte Carlo SS Chevy, running with stock drag tires followed by a test run with the massive 24 inch tires.
This badass looking car shows the difference between the two types of tires. But do not let that fool you, the car is still pretty fast despite the additional weight from the tires. And it sounds awesome too!
Though we do not know much about the car itself and hence this was a test run, we cannot assume how well it will perform at a competitive drag race. After all, it is all about the fun. What do you think, will the 24 inch tires have any chance against the stock Monte Carlo SS Chevy ones?
